The aforementioned call for proposals funded by NSTC is now accepting applications. The programme solicits proposals in two categories: ‘Production and Broadcasting of Popular Science Film and Television Products’ and ‘Science Communication and Promotion’.

The supporting documentation required for the project application includes: official correspondence from the applicant organisation approving the collaboration between the principal investigator and the science popularisation partner enterprise; the science popularisation partner enterprise must submit proof of eligibility, financial statements, a detailed budget for the matching funds, and evaluation certificates. It is recommended that applicants begin their preparations at the earliest possible opportunity to guarantee timely compliance.

Interested applicants shall be aware of the following timetable:
(1) Complete the online application by Tuesday, 23 December, 2025.
(2) Submit the completed university application form (including the declaration of conflict of interest), along with the signed ‘Declaration of Implementation of Funded Project’, to the Division of Research Project Affairs (RPA) by 17:00 pm on Wednesday, 24 December 2025, to enable the University to compile and forward the applications to the NSTC within the stipulated deadline.
