Pursuant to the scientific cooperation agreement signed between the NSTC and the Estonian ETAg, applications are hereby jointly invited for the aforementioned programme. Following joint deliberation of the project content by the principal investigators from both parties, applications shall be submitted separately to NSTC and the Estonian ETAg by the specified deadline.
This exchange programme involves the principal investigator undertaking a research visit to the partner country, which may take the form of:
A. A unilateral research visit
B. A reciprocal visit:Applications for both our overseas travel expenses and the visiting party's living expenses in Taiwan must be submitted simultaneously. (Please include both requests within the ‘Visit Plan’ application.)
The research domains shall be guided by the six priority clusters under Pillar 2 of the EU's Horizon Europe programme. These include:
I. Health and Medicine
II. Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society
III. Civil Security for Society
IV. Digital, AI, Industry Automation and Space
V. Climate, Energy and Mobility
VI. Food, Bio-economy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment
Interested applicants shall read through the NSTC regulations on NSTC’s website (https://www.nstc.gov.tw/), and follow the steps below:
(a) Complete the online application on NSTC's website.
(b) Download the “NTU Application Form for NSTC Grant for the International Cooperative Project.”
(c) Once the principal investigator, the head and dean of the executive department/institute have affixed their signatures or seals, please email the completed form to the Division of Research Project Affairs (RPA).
The deadline for submission is by 17:00, on Wensday, January 28, 2026.
Please synchronize your online application with the NSTC system before the deadline to allow the university to compile and send submissions to NSTC as scheduled.
