from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC)
收件者:本校研發處研究計畫服務組彙整備函

This program aims to support the nation's long-term development and cultivate high-level scientific research personnel by subsidizing outstanding domestic talents to undertake studies at world-class public and private research institutions abroad in critical science and technology, and humanities and social sciences research projects.

The 2026 program comprises 15 key scientific and technological research projects alongside humanities and social sciences initiatives. The NSTC has announced 123 recommended overseas research institutions spanning 19 countries, with access to nearly 200 collaborative research laboratories. Program leaders are advised to prioritize collaboration with these institutions, though this does not constitute an exclusive requirement.

Subsidy Items and Cost-Sharing Arrangements:

(1) Subsidy Items: Overseas travel expenses for the principal investigator and co-investigators, laboratory expenses, and stipends for research trainees (NT$900,000 per annum for doctoral students; NT$1,500,000 per annum for postdoctoral researchers).

(2) Subsidy Amount: The total annual subsidy per project shall not exceed NT$4,000,000.
