In accordance with the cooperation agreement signed between the NSTC and Inserm, a joint call for proposals for the aforementioned programme is hereby issued.
Priority research topics:
Areas of collaboration for this project may include, but are not limited to: Health and Medical Technology (such as AI Applications in Healthcare, Precision Medicine and Medical Devices), Genomics, Cancer, Healthy Ageing, Neuroscience, Mental Health and Emerging Infectious Diseases.
The types of grants and funding include:
I. Exploratory Mobility Programme:
The grant covers the costs incurred by researchers involved in the project (including postdoctoral researchers and PhD students) for short-term visits or study periods at the partner institution. The maximum grant per application from the Taiwan side is NT$380,000.
II. Joint Workshops Programme:
Grants are available to cover the organizational costs of a single bilateral symposium (held in Taiwan) or international travel expenses (to attend a symposium in France). The maximum grant per application from the Taiwanese side is NT$450,000.
Prospective applicants shall adhere to the following steps:
(1) Complete the online application on NSTC's website.
(2) Download the “NTU Application Form for NSTC Grant for the International Cooperative Project.”
(3) After acquiring the signatures or seals of the head and dean of the executive department/institute, please email the finalized form to the Division of Research Project Affairs (RPA).
The submission deadline is by 17:00 on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Please simultaneously submit your online application through the NSTC system prior to the aforementioned internal application deadline, to enable the university to compile the list and forward it to the NSTC in due time.
