In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding on scientific cooperation signed between the NSTC and the TACR, a joint call for proposals for the aforementioned programme is hereby issued.
The areas of cooperation for this call for proposals are, in principle, the following eight:
I. Green Energy
II. Artificial Intelligence Applications
III. Healthcare and Biomedicine
IV. Cyber Security
V. Advanced Agriculture (including Smart Agriculture)
VI. Aeronautical and Aerospace Technology
VII. Disaster Prevention
VIII. Laser Technology
Project Type:
This project falls under the "Legal Person" category of international cooperation links.
I. The project team formed by the Taiwanese applicant must involve: (1) a domestic research "Legal Person" and (2) relevant domestic industry partners, with a researcher from the industry designated as a co-principal investigator; priority will be given to applications where domestic enterprises contribute matching funds.
II. The Czech project team applicant must be primarily from industry (a company) and may submit a joint application with a partner university or other research institution.
Prospective applicants shall adhere to the following steps:
(1) Complete the online application on NSTC's website.
(2) Download the “NTU Application Form for NSTC Grant for the International Cooperative Project.”
(3) After acquiring the signatures or seals of the head and dean of the executive department/institute, please email the finalized form to the Division of Research Project Affairs (RPA).
The submission deadline is by 17:00 on Monday, June 22, 2026.
Please simultaneously submit your online application through the NSTC system prior to the aforementioned internal application deadline, to enable the university to compile the list and forward it to the NSTC in due time.
