The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) and the European Union are jointly inviting proposals for the aforementioned transnational multilateral cooperation programme. Applications must be submitted via the EU’s online application system between now and 21 July 2026.

The application deadlines and guidelines for the aforementioned programme shall be subject to the information published in English on the EU calls for proposals website (https://transcan.eu/), which is updated on an ongoing basis.

Applications that have been approved by the European Union may, in accordance with the ‘Successful Participation in EU Transnational Research and Innovation Projects’ scheme, be submitted online via the NSTC website under the ‘Project-based Bilateral Agreement International Cooperation Programme (Joint Call) with rolling intake’. The funding for this programme is earmarked for specific purposes, and the maximum annual grant is, in principle, NT$3 million.
