The award provides grants to encourage domestic researchers specialized in electronics, information and communications, and other related fields to engage in short-term studies at internationally renowned academic or research institutions in order to enhance their own expertise and R&D potential.
A. The 2025 award is given out to a maximum of 4 awardees with a maximum amount of NT$300,000 for each awardee.
B. The university's faculty members who are to conduct research abroad shall undergo procedures following the NTU Guidelines for Faculty Lecture, Research, and Further Study Abroad.
C. Applicants who wish to be recommended by the University shall submit 1 hard copy of the application documents (including the digital files, please email to yuhanweng@ntu.edu.tw) via the college to the Office of Research and Development by February 7, 2025. After the recommendation is signed and approved by the ORD, the office will engage with the Pan Wen Yuan Foundation to proceed with the application.
