A. This announcement is made in accordance with the official document (code: 科部科字第1100035850號) of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) dated 2021/6/21.
B. Introduction
(1) The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) signed a cooperation agreement with the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in 2001. The International Emerging Action (IEA) is a two-year collaborative program between a principal investigator at a CNRS research institution and a principal investigator at a foreign research institution, with the ultimate goals of exploring emerging research areas and developing new international partnerships.
(2) Applicants must meet the same eligibility requirements of MOST's subsidies for Special Topic Research Project.
(3) If it is necessary to allocate budget for administrative expenses, please refer to the relevant MOST procedure.
C. Application instructions and deadline applicable to NTU
(1) Please be sure to log in to the MOST Research Personnel Portal, complete the form and upload all required documents in both English and Chinese by Thursday, 2021/9/16. As required by MOST regulations, make sure that the uploaded documents are consolidated into a single file and then notify by telephone the contact person at the Office of Research and Development (ORD), which is responsible for tabulating and forwarding all received applications to MOST. Please note that no late applications will be accepted.
(2) Please download the MOST International Cooperation Project Application Form for NTU from the ORD website. Submit the completed form to the ORD Division of Strategic Planning by the NTU deadline.
