To encourage professors and students undertaking laboratory animal testing to adopt appropriate animal care methods, please consult the "Guidelines on Laboratory Animal Care and Use" 1.3 "Principals on Staff Qualifications and Training" of Council of Agriculture (COA), as well as the resolutions adopted by in the 79th and 80th meetings of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). Starting from Jan. 1, 2021, students and faculty members of the University's main campus participating in laboratory animal research and courses (including research fellows, undergraduate students, graduate students and professors at the NTU School of Veterinary Medicine, faculty members and principal investigators) shall complete the IACUC training course. Training can be done either via a 4-hour in-person course or the online course offered by the CITI Program. Compliance with such requirements is appreciated.
