CITI (Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative) is an online educational training course designed and periodically updated by specialized professional researchers. Every course is comprised of several smaller courses. An examination is included with each course, and those passing with a grade of 80% or above can receive a course transcript.

The examination is approved by this committee as an educational training course, and is recognized as equivalent to an offline course with a validity of 3 years.

Due to the impossibility of estimating time spent taking the course, those who pass the Laboratory Animals course via online training will not be able to acquire a certificate of approval.

1. For methods of use, please refer to: CITI Registration and Use.
2. After completing the CITI online materials, please carefully read the Animal Subject Protection Methods.
3. Print a copy of the files "Working with the IACUC" and "Animal-Specific Courses" and in the blank space write: "I have carefully read the Animal Subject Protection Methods" and then sign your name.
4. Send a hard copy of the course transcript to the Research Ethics Office to complete the educational training course.
