Ministry of Education National Chair Professorship

The Ministry of Education’s 25th Annual National Chair Professorship is open for application. The University's 2021 application deadline is Jan. 11 (Mon.), 2021. Each college shall compile all applications into one official document and submit it to the Office of Research and Development. Please inquire the contact persons of each college about the application date and deadline of each college.

Eligibility

Full-time professors at universities (regular personnel) meeting one of the following conditions: Academician at the Academia Sinica, recipient of the Ministry of Education's Annual Academic Award, or those who make contributions as outstanding as the previous two to academic or specialized fields home or abroad. Each university can recommend up to 3 applicants for each field.

Application Categories

Five Fields of Study: Humanities and Arts, Social Sciences, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Biology, and Medical and Agricultural Sciences, and Engineering and Applied Sciences.
