To promote collaboration between Excellence Research Centers, identify new research topics, and increase research contribution and impact, the Collaboration Promotion Plan is implemented under the Higher Education SPROUT Project. Please see below for more information:

1. Eligibility: collaboration facilitator between different Excellence Research Centers

2. Subsidy Quota: a maximum of 2 post-doctoral fellows

3. Application Materials: Application Form for the Excellence Research Centers Collaboration Promotion Plan (including the Application Form for Review of Postdoctoral Candidates by the Task Force)

4. Review Procedures: Please submit the required materials to the Office of Research and Development for the initial check. The employment process may start after the application is reviewed and approved by the Task Force.

5. The Plan starts on Jan. 1, 2020.

6. Notes:

• The Plan subsidy can only be applied by chief investigators while the main projects shall serve as employing units.
• An annual work report shall detail work conducted, cross-center collaboration, and its effects, and shall be signed by chief investigators of both the competent and collaborating centers before reappointment of postdoctoral research fellows. Cross-center collaboration and its effects detailed in the annual work report are both important considerations for reappointment.
