1. If research is under the jurisdiction of “Human Subjects Research Act”, its principal investigators must provide the certificate of 6 hours of research-related educational training course in the past two years. During submission for approval, if credits have not been completed, a signed affidavit must be provided guaranteeing the credits will be completed within three months starting from the submission date.
2. Starting from May 1, 2017.
3. The 6 hours of research-related educational training must be completed within two years prior to the date of submission.
4. Definition:
Human Subject Research: refers to research involving obtaining, investigating, analyzing, or using human specimens or an individual person’s biological behavior, physiological, psychological, genetic or medical information.
Human Specimen: refer to human (including a fetus and corpse) organs, tissues, cells, body fluids, or any derivative biomaterial arising from experimentation therewith.
