[Announcement] Revised fee standards for "amendments" – Starting from the fourth amendment onwards, a review fee is required for each subsequent amendment.

The revised 'Service Fee Standards for the Ethics Review Committee for Behavioral and Social Sciences Research at National Taiwan University' have been updated.

 

This was communicated to all first and second-level units of the university through letter No. 1120121089 issued by the Research and Development Office on December 25, 112th Year of the Republic of China (2023). Additionally, on January 2, 113th Year of the Republic of China (2024), letter No. 1120124294 was sent out to request partner schools and institutions to inform their respective units.The amendments focus on Articles Three, Four, and Seven.

 

The key amendment is that no fees are required for the first three amendments to the ethics review ('amendment case'), but starting from the fourth amendment onwards, a review fee is applicable for each amendment. Please refer to the attached document for details.

 

The implementation of these changes will commence on February 1, 113th Year of the Republic of China (2024).
