If a research plan from full-time personnel of commissioned institutions requires the approval of the Research Ethics Committee due to requirements of funding agencies, government entities, and member institutions, the full-time personnel may submit the research plan to NTU for research ethics review in accordance with the attached authorization letter.

When submitting the research plan to NTU for research ethics review, full-time personnel of commissioned institutions shall report to their internal research project's supervising entity for approval. The aforementioned approval method shall be determined by the institution in question; those without any relevant approval methods must still also notify the institution's internal research project's supervising entity when submitting a research project to NTU. The research project's review results report undertaken by NTU is also commissioned in accordance with the regulations of the other aforementioned institution.
