Starting from Jan. 1, 2021, accroding to the "Standards on the Payment for NTU Behavioral and Social Science Research Ethics Committee Revision Services", fee exemption for case revisions has been readjusted to NT$4,500.  Depending on the date the new case began revision (as shpown in the final 6 digits of the case number indicating YYYYMM), applications for case revisions handled on Dec. 31, 2020 or earlier, shall enjoy the original pricing (as amended during the 2959th administrative meeting on Aug. 8, 2017), please consult attached file No. 1; if handling of the case began on Jan. 1, 2021 or after, new pricing shall apply (as amended during the 3083rd administrative meeting on Dec. 8, 2020), please consult attached file No. 2.

As stipulated in resolutions passed during the 11th meeting of the "North Taiwan Research Participants Protection Union", the Research Ethics Office shall implement educational training as covered in the Union membership fees. Starting from Jan. 1, 2021, research fellows from member institutions that pay yearly membership fees shall receive the following benefits: Free educational training in research ethics and priority when signing up; on-campus assistance upon arrival for research ethics training exercises; assistance with the planning of research ethics training exercises; access to online CITI courses; special consultation services; a reduction in revision fees (see attached file download): NT$1,000 less for complete case revisions and NT$1,000 less for low-risk cases. ( Applications for case revisions handled on Dec. 31, 2020 or earlier, shall enjoy the original pricing for low-risk cases, which is NT$500.)
