The Data Analytics and Digital Transformation Research Center (DADT) is the focal point for NTU College of Management's efforts in exploring data analytics and digital transformation. The Center bridges outstanding faculty of the College with industries in need for data research, assists industries in digital upgrading and collaborates with various entities to conduct practical as well as theoretical research.
Professor Chung-Jen Chen and Professor Bou-Wen Lin established the Center for Technology Policy and Industry Development. Professor Wen-Hua Chen founded the Business Intelligence Laboratory and Bright Insight Lab.
The department has established the "NTU SCS Research Center" to focus on interdisciplinary research. The research space is located in room 703 of the accounting department office building. The research center is headed by one director who is responsible for coordinating and integrating research topics and resources. The primary research focus of this center is corporate governance. Corporate governance research spans across accounting, finance, and law. "Corporate governance" is recognized as a highly important research direction both theoretically and practically in top international journals in each respective field.
Professor Pai-Ta Shih from the Department of Finance has established the Digital Finance and Industry Development Research Center. The research center is led by professors who are finance and industrial development experts, supported by a team of researchers and assistants. The research center is characterized by its interdisciplinary scope and integrative collaboration with faculty as well as experts from private and public sectors in finance, law, science, and technology, etc., to stimulate dialogue, exchange ideas, and offer valuable solutions to practice and policy in Taiwan.
The department has established a total of 18 physical laboratories/research centers.
