NSTC and INCa are jointly soliciting a 2026 bilateral collaborative research programme (3-4 years), whereby NSTC will subsidise researchers from Taiwan to participate in the French PLBIO programme.

The PLBIO programme area involves original knowledge or foresight technical research in cancer (cognitive science may be included); nevertheless, it excludes three types of topics: translational research, clinical trials, and epidemiological and public health research.

The aforementioned programme will have a two-stage application process:

(1) Stage 1: submission of a pre-proposal.
INCa will unilaterally accept pre-proposals from mid-September to 24 October 2024 (as announced on the official website of INCa).

(2) Stage 2: submission of a full proposal (only if the pre-proposal is invited to participate in stage 2)
