MOST-Funded Research Project Budget Virement and Change Application
Regulations
  1. All budget virement and change applications shall be submitted within the project period.
  2. Budget virement and change applications shall be handled in accordance with the Operation Guidelines for MOST Research Project Grants and the MOST Principles for Handling Research Project Grants.

Internal Administrative Procedures

For the applications may process in accordance with NTU's internal administrative procedures without submitting a report to MOST for approval:

Please use the NTU’s MOST-Funded Research Project Online Budget Virement and Change Application and Approval System.

NOTE

For the following circumstances, please use the MOST-Subsidized Research Project Budget Virement and Change Application Form (for NTU procedures) to apply:

  • The principal investigator from other institution transfers a portion of project funds to NTU’s co-investigator.
  • The principal investigator transfers from other institution to NTU within the mid-term of the project.

MOST-Funded Research Project Executing Department/Institute Change Request

Please download the NTU’s MOST-Funded Research Project Executing Department / Institute Change Request Form and submit this form to the Division of Research Project Affairs after the principal investigator and the chairs and deans of the original and new executive department/institute have affixed their signature or seal.

For the Applications Shall be Submitted to MOST for Review

Please apply through the MOST Academic Research Service Portal:

  1. Print out the application form from the website after submitting the application.
  2. Deliver or email this form to the Division of Research Project Affairs after the principal investigator and the chairs of the executive department/institute have affixed their signature or seal.
