The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) is currently accepting applications for the 2025 NSTC Research Project Grants. The submission deadline is December 30, 2024 (Monday).
(For principal investigators affiliated with the College of Medicine, please be aware that the submission deadline is subject to the announcement by the College of Medicine – Branch Office of Research and Development.)
Application Procedures for PIs from the Main Campus and the College of Public Health:
(1) Online Application: Complete the online application procedure on the NSTC website by the aforementioned deadline.
(2) Department/Institute Confirmation: Each executive department or institute is responsible for verifying the applications on the NSTC website and compiling a list of applicants. This list shall be sent to the respective colleges for consolidation after the heads of the executive department or institute have affixed their signatures or seals.
(3) List Submission: By 2 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, the colleges are required to scan and email the compiled lists that have been approved by the deans to the handlers of the Division of Research Project Affairs (RPA).
Please keep in mind that the submission deadline. We recommend interested applicants begin the application procedure as soon as possible to allow enough time for it to be completed. Also, please be aware that once the online applications have been confirmed, and authorized by the chair and dean of the executive department/institute, no extensions will be granted for late or incomplete applications.
