2020-07-17

One primary function of the Center of Industrial-Academic Cooperation is to be the bridge that connects the university with industry. The Center is responsible for matching enterprises to NTU’s top research talents to help businesses find solutions for advanced core technology and relevant issues. Applying academic research for industry projects can help businesses boost their R&D energy and succeed in their upgrading and transformation.

  • Notes before Applying
  1. In some cases, signing an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) is a prerequisite for meeting with the R&D personnel.
  2. A collaboration project may or may not go ahead depending on various factors, including whether or not the prospective company has specified a professor to work with, the current number of ongoing projects and research areas (interests) of the professor, the content to be developed (e.g. specific manufacturing process issues to be solved or new manufacturing processes to be created), technology (research results), level of maturity, etc.
  3. All collaboration proposals are kept on file. The Center will keep prospective companies updated on relevant R&D results. Collaboration project proposals that are not carried out may still be given a go-ahead in the future.
  4. Please contact the Division of Industrial-Academic Cooperation for questions regarding collaboration project applications, administrative processes, budgeting, and payments.
